Winona-Ryder

Winona Laura Horowitz professionally known in the media as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Parents named her Winona after her home town. Michel Horowitz was her father and Cynthia Palmer, his mother are both authors as well as editors. Ryder is a Jew. Ryder believes that her father was from a Jewish background. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are the half siblings of Ryder. Ryder's parents moved her and her siblings into Mendocino County California when Ryder turned seven. They was in a house that didn't have electric power. Ryder would read extensively due to the lack of television. Ryder took acting classes at the age of Ryder was twelve years old, in the American Conservatory Theatre. She landed her debut role on the big screen in 1986, at the age of 15 older. Ryder was bullied at her high school. Ryder hoped her career as an actress could bring about change. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. However, she continued to pursue her ambitions. Beetlejuice the 1988 Tim Burton film, was her first big breakthrough. Ryder went on to have numerous roles that were successful. In 1993, she was awarded an Academy Prize to be awarded for The Age of Innocence.
